Latina Heads Up Film School

POWERFUL LATINA TAKES CONTROL OF BIG HOLLWOOD FILM SCHOOL! Latina, Diana Derycz Kessler is not only the CEO of The Los Angeles Film School, but she is also a Co-Owner. Diana overseas all business decisions within the school. Diana has a remarkable educational background that includes degrees from Harvard Law School, Stanford, and UCLA. Diana was also an Elite Model while attending Harvard, and appeared in numerous magazines and catalogues. Having worked at a New York Law Firm, a Fortune 500 Company, her own consulting practice, and an investment fund for over ten years, Diana has worked closely with companies of all sizes. She also acts as manager and general counsel to her and her husband's investment companies, The Bristol Group of Companies. Diana and her mother are both Mexican, and lived in Mexico for five years. Diana is intelligent, hard working, and extremely involved in the day-to-day operations of The Los Angeles Film School and has been instrumental in proving our school to be a success. Amongst her busy schedule, Diana always makes time to meet with the students one on one, which makes the school a friendly and comfortable place to learn. Diana recently interviewed by CNN Espanol for reports that focus on her and her activities within the school. With all of the responsibility Diana takes on, and an impressive resume that speaks for itself, she deserves to be recognized as a powerful Latina Rolemodel.

Although less than two years old, The Los Angeles Film School has already positioned itself as a unique institution in the world of education for aspiring filmmakers. Is founders had the vision to create a film school with a commitment to the core disciplines and crafts-the arts and sciences of motion pictures-that have established Hollywood as the leading filmmaking community in the world. The school's facilities in the heart of Hollywood incorporate contemporary production and post-production technology into a state-of-the-art film curriculum. And its relationships with studios, independents and major providers of the industry services provide students with access and insight to the industry of their dreams. These strengths, combined with The Los Angeles Film School's pledge to provide hands-on quality academic programs administered by top-notch entertainment industry professionals will ultimately set The Los Angeles Film School apart from the competition. Students from all over the world are coming to LAFS to participate in our twelve-month intensive hands-on program, and we encourage all students to apply for outreach/scholarship programs. Directing, Producing, Cinematography, Editing, and Production Design are amongst various concentrations that are focused on at the school.
